ICD/ICS 705

GTK Engineering focuses on guiding organizations through the implementation of the Intelligence Community Directive 705 (ICD-705), which establishes the physical and technical security standards for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). We have expert consultants in this field able to provide critical support in interpreting and applying the directive’s complex requirements, including facility accreditation, TEMPEST compliance, construction standards, and access controls. Our team will work closely with architects, engineers, and security personnel to ensure that new or renovated SCIFs meet all federal guidelines while avoiding costly delays or rework. Through detailed assessments, documentation support, and liaison with accrediting authorities, GTK Engineering can help ensure secure, compliant environments for handling national security information

Process Overview:

GTK Engineering would serve as a liaison between the Accrediting Official (AO) and the Site Security Manager (SSM) and the Design/Build team to evaluate each proposed SCIF for threats, vulnerabilities, and assets to determine the most efficient countermeasures required for physical and technical security. GTK Engineering would also ensure project compliance from concept to accreditation and be available for technical exchange meetings to provide the expertise to ensure that the site shall meet the requirements of ICD 705.
