Data Center Assessment
GTK Engineering has personnel trained as EIA/TIA 942 Data Center Consultants as well as in BICSI 002. Air Flow Modeling
To understand the airflow within a data center, GTK Engineering can perform a survey of the entire below-floor and above-floor environment. This survey collects information on air handlers, underfloor obstructions, and Rack IT load. This information is then input into a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling program, which produces a comprehensive model of the data center environment. This model provides an in-depth visualization of airflow velocity and pressure, which can be utilized to improve efficiencies and identify problem areas. Remember, you can’t monitor or improve what you don’t measure.
ICD/ICS 705 Consulting
GTK Engineering focuses on guiding organizations through the implementation of the Intelligence Community Directive 705 (ICD-705), which establishes the physical and technical security standards for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).
